Aliza Schwartz, DMD

Meet Dr. Aliza, a bright star in pediatric dentistry! She graduated summa cum laude from Touro College, earning a B.S. with honors and the prestigious Chemistry Award. Her journey continued at Temple University’s Kornberg School of Dentistry, where she proudly earned her dental degree with honors.

Dr. Aliza completed a general practice residency at New York Medical College, gaining invaluable clinical experience at various hospitals, including Westchester Medical Center and Phelps Memorial Hospital.

Her love for working with kids inspired her to pursue a residency at Jacobi Medical Center, where she joyfully treated children, including those with special needs, at the Rose F. Kennedy Center. She also provided crucial care for pediatric dental trauma in emergency situations and treated craniofacial conditions like cleft lip and palate.

As a board-certified pediatric dentist, Dr. Aliza is passionate about delivering compassionate, high-quality care tailored to the unique needs of each child. She truly believes in making dental visits a positive and enjoyable experience for everyone!

Dr. Aliza earned her bachelor’s degree from Touro College, graduating summa cum laude and receiving the prestigious Chemistry Award along with a B.S. Honors degree. She went on to obtain her dental degree from Temple University Maurice H. Kornberg School of Dentistry, graduating with honors.

Dr. Aliza completed a general practice residency program at New York Medical College, where she gained extensive clinical experience across two clinics and several hospitals including Westchester Medical Center and Phelps Memorial Center. This experience laid a strong foundation for her diverse practice, which encompasses patients of all ages, from infants to the elderly.

Dr. Aliza’s passion for pediatric dentistry led her to pursue a specialized residency at Jacobi Medical Center. Over the course of this rigorous two-year program, she honed her skills in treating children in both clinical and operating room settings. She gained invaluable experience working in the Rose F. Kennedy Center’s special needs dental clinic, where she dedicated her efforts to caring for children with special needs.

Her residency also provided her with the opportunity to treat children with craniofacial conditions, including cleft lip and palate. Collaborating with plastic surgeons, oral surgeons, and ENTs, she developed a comprehensive understanding of the head, neck, and airway in pediatric patients. Additionally, Dr. Aliza spent time in a pediatric emergency room, where she effectively treated dental trauma, further solidifying her expertise in emergency pediatric dental care.

Her foundation in multiple fields of dentistry, coupled with her compassionate approach, ensures that she provides the best possible care for all her patients.
